Summerside Skating Club

• New skaters who you believe are ready to join CanSkate can register for our TRY CANSKATE Program. Minimum age accepted will be 4 years old.
• The cost of the Program is $50.00 for 3 ice times.
• Program Assistants cannot offer hands on support this year so 1 parent/adult (helmet and skates required) will be required to join our Coaches on the ice as part of the Try Canskate program.
• At the end of the 3rd session if your skater can get up and move on their own they will be asked to come for a final assesment on a 4th session (without parents on ice) to determine if they are able to follow coach directions to be eligibible for Canskate. ($50.00 will be deducted from registration fee if your skater joins our Canskate program)

Step by Step Instructions for Registering

1. In top right corner click on Login
2. Click - First Time Registering
3. Fill in Member Information - This is YOU  not your skater.  Skater info will be added a little later.   You have to remember to check yes or no at the bottom for news, upcoming programs and registration info.  It will not let you go farther until you check one. 
4. Click create account in bottom right corner
5. Go to your email to verify account.  It will bring the webpage up again and you may need to login with your email address and password. 
6. Click on the circle for Participants
7. Click add new participant
8. Add your skaters information (Do not click on the Register myself button unless it is you that will be on the ice)
9. Scroll down and click on Register Today to register for the program you want. 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

This year our fundraising for Fall Session will be selling tickets on a Gift Card Tree for Christmas.  During registration, when you checkout, a popup will come up giving you the option to buyout the fundraising.  If you do not want to sell tickets you can click this button and the $75.00 fee will be added to your checkout.

Payment options are etransfer, monthly installments (not available for Try Canskate), and credit card.  If you opt to use a credit card please click the pop up at check out for credit cards.  It will charge the 3% fee that the Club is being charged to offer it.

There is only a limited number of spots for Canskate due to Covid Regulations.  A waitlist is available if regulations change.

Registration closes on September 30, 2020 and there will be a late fee if skaters aren't registered by this date and there is still room available. 

FOR TRY CANSKATE - SOMEONE IS REQUIRED TO GO ON THE ICE WITH NEW SKATERS.  IT IS MANDATORY FOR BOTH THE SKATER AND THE HELPER TO WEAR A CSA APPROVED HOCKEY HELMET!!!!
